Sore Losers

So many Lakers fan txt me last night or tweeted about the Heat losing to the Bulls. Bitter fans have so much to say about the Heat but where the hell are the Lakers...o yeah sitting at home icing there old joints, trying to figure out if Brown really smashed Gasol's wife, and trying to decide who is going to replace Phil Jackson. We got this over here so please worry about your own mess. This was just one game...we still here, still standing, and prepared to win.

For All You Haters

Lebron covers the September issue of GQ Mag.
Here are somethings he says in mag:
On Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert:
“I don’t think he ever cared about LeBron.
My mother always told me: ‘You will see the light of people when they hit adversity.
You’ll get a good sense of their character.’
Me and my family have seen the character of that man.”
On imagining himself playing for the Cavaliers again one day:
“If there was an opportunity for me to return and those fans welcome me back,
that’d be a great story.… Maybe the ones burning my jersey were never LeBron fans anyway."

On how growing up helped him learn about facing adversity and staying humble:
“That’s what keeps me humble, because I know my background, know what my mother went through. I never get too high on my stardom or what I can do. My mom always says, and my friends say, ‘You’re just a very low-maintenance guy.’”
I will always be a Lebron fan no matter what the haters have to say.....and we'll see what the Heat do come November.

Upset!!!!!!!!

Awhile ago Kimmie E put QV on with the up and coming black scholar and athlete, Myron Rolle. Mr. Rolle is not you're average jock, instead he is a Rhodes Scholar, took a year off from football at Florida State to study at Oxford University in England, plans on becoming a neurosurgeon, and was sure to be picked in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft kinda brother lol. However it seems all of Myron Rolle's achievements hindered his chances in the NFL Draft. Instead of Rolle being a top pick in the first round of the NFL Draft, he was the 207th and final pick of the 6th round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Ok now here is were shit gets real!

Some coaches in the NFL see Myron Rolle as a liability, due to his studies and his scholarly achievements. Furthermore, NFL coaches think Myron Rolle is not focused enough on football and too focused on brain power. So this is one of the main reasons that Myron Rolle fell so low in the 2010 NFL Draft. I am utterly disgusted by these actions made on behalf of the NFL. As ESPN journalist, Jemele Hill stated " NFL coaches prefer players who won't challenge the league's well-established groupthink mentality. They value warriors, not thinkers."

So you are telling me that a man that ran the 40 in 4.76 seconds and is a Rhodes scholar is too educated to be valued in the NFL. That because Myron Rolle wanted to pursue an elite education, his love and focus on football was questioned. This young black man was hailed as the "future of black America" and he is being put down for wanting to be educated. Yet many College level and Pro level athletes that have had drug problems, been accused of sexually molesting women, shooting some one, or doping on steroids are being praised by the NFL.(The NFL is just sweeping those situations under the rug) America wants there athletes to be one track minded, to say fuck education and just live and breathe football!!!! Wtf does that say to the kids in America?!?! O kids don't be educated and strive for something more, just pick up a ball and focus on sports and maybe you will be good enough to go pro although we all know only a small percentage of you will make it. Not every child will be a professional athlete or even make it as far as college level sports, but every child does have the chance to obtain an education.

Myron Rolle keep doing ya thing and i'll be looking for you on the Titans field. Those coaches are just threatened by you because you are one thing that America can not understand, trust, or stop.....you are an educated black man.
