I saw Julie and Julia and I had never been so hungry in my entire life.
I'm not a fan of french food per se, but I am a fan of food! Food is
like an indescribable feeling, kind of orgasmic, like a volcano going
off in your mouth (good visual right?) I enjoy it so much that I'm
thinking of investing in a cookbook. The last several days have been
wonderful! Stuffed chicken breast with mushrooms, garlic, and onions,
spaghetti and homemade turkey meatballs, pancakes, eggs, and potatoes
for breakfast! Yum yum yum! As I type I am preparing to go on yet
another excursion into Wal-Mart, the great beyond!! Wal-Mart is probably
one of the fattest places I've been in my entire life, but its so
breathtakingly beautiful! The translucent lights, the cartons of fruit,
barrels of tomatoes, boxes of other miscellaneous shit...sigh...what a
beaut! This of course is coming from the girl who goes to bed because
she's excited to eat the next morning. So if you love food as much as I
do, I suggest you love the gym just as much or even more. I'm off to
invest in my nutritional future. Ta ta for now bishes!

To wife or not to wife? That is the question

Why me? Why am I a single lady? All we really want is for someone to
want to put a ring on it, not to say we will take the ring, but we want
a ring offering from a guy who we find intriguing. Take my home for
example we have living with us one wifed and two singles (including
myself). It seems as though the single girls stick together through
their singleness, bitching about the "boys they talk to or think they
talk to" while wifey remains content in the confines of her room,
smiling to the gloriousness of wifed life and its many perks. I can
honestly say that the singleness within us is jealous, happy for our
friend, but jealous at the same time, which I believe is understandable
considering that we've been living in "woo world" for 3 or 4 years lol
(shake my head). But what is the determining factor? Why is it that some
girls are always wifed, some girls stay single (me), and some girls just
so happen to find that special one (wifed roomie)? Patience maybe? Or is
it that me and my single friend love assholes?Or is it us? I for one
don't want to stick around and wait for the answer because it's most
like going to be a load of stinking cow dung. I suggest you revel in
your singleness and look for the perks within that. Dwelling on the fact
that she gets to go eat lobster for free and celebrate Valentines Day
will make you all the more bitter. Rejoice in the fact that you can do
whatever you want to without the restrictions of a title! Take yourself
out, by yourself a drink, go out and dance! Be a human being for christ
sake because once you get that desired relationship there will be more
disappointment, and potential heart break. Your singleness could be your
saving grace and it can offer you much peace. Think of it like this,
every girl in a relationship has once been a single girl. One day you'll
be her and one day she'll be you.

So love yourself ladies. You don't need a man to do that.

early morning blogging is 4 bitches

Its early as hell and I'm tired as all get out, but I jus read a whole
slew of old queenie posts, and we are very interesting. Its like the
blog has a voice, like I can hear that voice and it sounds like
money...ok it sounds like the clink of nickels and dimes, but at least
its got a little ring to it!

Blogging is very hard. Its like a relationship. Sometimes I'm wifin the
joint sometimes I'm beatin' the joint and sometimes the joint be textin
me all kinds of recklessness because I neglect her, but in the end she's
still my MAIN..feel me? Gotta keep her satisfied. Lol. We go back with
Queenie V to summer 2007, and that's pretty dope. That technically means
we were here before your blog and yours...and yours...and yours way in
the back. Its a shame we never really popped off, but anythings possible
and we can still blow up lol. Look at it like this, Queenie is always
gonna be here to keep it 100 with you. Through thick and thin, Queenie
is and will always be the h.b.I.c and we got the posts to prove it. So
when you make it and when we make it you can look back and say "Damn!
Queenie put me on to them shoes" or "Damn! Queenie interviewed me when
no one gave a flute", or even, "Damn them Queenie V bishes is fine as
hell!" Whatever it is just make sure you remember us, because we'll
always remember you.

Morning Cup a' Joe

Good morning, hope your sleeps went well for you!!! After much
consideration, calculations, concentration, and (I can't think of
another C word), but after all of that I have decided that I am ready
for 2010 to be my year. I don't know exactly what I want from it, but I
know that I WANT and NEED...that's a good beginning right? I thought so.
I feel like my dealings with God have been growing on a consistent basis
and despite my wonderfully horrible flaws we're still ace boon coons!
He's there to serve as a provider, so why not ask for the stuff you
want, take steps to make it happen, and watch God do the rest? I mean of
course you give thanks and try to do the right thing, but God makes ways
for everyone, know it or not. Its all about being pro-active and living
for what you have at the moment not complaining about your have-nots. As
a college student I am always around people who have more than I do who
complain about what little they have and am also around people who have
less than me and I stare in their faces complaining about what I don't
have. Lets just give it a rest and know that despite all of it, I'm not
going to ever be living in Monroe Park (God willing) or sleeping on a
bench in Harlem, unless its by choice lol. So go out there and take what
you have and make it work and by doing that something better is bound to
come your way...regardless of your faith.
