RIP ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

I woke up this morning to a tragic txt from Kimmie E.....

All it read was that British fashion visionary, Alexander McQueen had committed suicide....

The visionary that brought us pure fashion magic has died...

The designer who brought his now iconic skulls to life through scarves, jewelry, and handbags....

The designer who has dressed the likes of Rihanna, BEyonce, Victoria Beckham, Madonna and countless others

The fashion great that shocked the fashion world with his spectacular

Winter 2009 and S/S 2010 line

Lady Gaga in McQueen S/S 2010

He was named British designer of the year four times and named the International Designer of the Year by The Council of Fashion Designer's of America (CFDA) in 2003.


McQueen also worked with the likes of Gucci and Givenchy.

Tragically his mentor, Isabella Blow, also committed suicide in 2007...

And earlier this month his mother passed....

This is a major loss to the fashion world....


And although the genius that is Alexander McQueen has passed

His incredible masterpiece's of fashion will forever live on

R.I.P.
