P.S.A:::Urban Outfitters Infringement?!??!?!

OK OK OK...people people people!! Our favorite store has been subject to (whispered) "infringement". Which basically means they rip off designers, steal their designs, and copy them in a "different" sort of way in order to make a profit. Shame on you Urban! Shame! Our first instance comes from my ever favorite t-shirt designer Johnny Cupcakes. Now Johnny is famous for taking well known logos and design and throwing cupcakes on them, pure difference, this is called "inspiration". Well when Johnny was starting out he gave some sample shirts to Urban so they could see if they wanted to carry them, once he decided he did not want to do business, Urban kept the shirts and then made them into their own, changing nothing but the color! ( above right johnny cupcakes, above left urban outfitters brand urban renewal) Strike two was when Urban knocked off T-shirt maker Crown Farmers shirt "take pills and chill" t-shirt. When the shirt was carried in the chain store, consumers boycotted the shirt saying it advertised drug use. So urban immediately took it off the market and replaced it with a chopped and screwed version...literally. Strike Three is when Urban jacked off high fashion label Lanvin's pearl necklaces. The necklaces by Lanvin, designed with pearls and overcast with black tulle, while Urban's is overcast with black lace...go figure...is ANYTHING sacred??? Damn Urban you let us down...Oh and don't get me started on Forever 21!!! Like below,the top is famous designer Diana Von Furstenburg's dress on the right, and Forever 21's rendition on the left. Below that pic is designer Tibi's dress on the right, and Forever 21's on the left. And lastly Anna Sui and Forever 21.. FOR SHAME!!!!

Reportedly Gwen Stefani is in the works with Jane Pratt, the founder of Jane magazine. After the mag folded, rumors began to fly that the style icon and Pratt were in talks to develop a magazine that would cater to the 18 to 25 crowd. I am excited and can't wait to read it, if it comes out hehe.

Crackies Gone Wild: Lindsey Lohan Part 2

Ok this winch has gone to far! On Tuesday Lindsey Lohan was pulled over and charged with driving with a suspended license, DUI, and lets not forget the cocaine, but they left something out of this riveting saga. During her joy ride/car chase Miss Lohan had three young men in the car with her according to TMZ. Jakon Sutter, Dante Nigro, and Ronnie Blake were all in the car during the whole incident. When the police pulled Lohan over she had the fucking nerve to tell the officer when questioned "I wasn't driving. The black kid was driving." WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now she is blaming black people for her array of problems. It's time to call Al Sharpton!
